It didn't take long to realise that I'm fascinated by things in photographs that take us away from a direct representation of reality, layer by layer - like windows, water, mirrors or mist. I hope that it encourages people to look beyond the obvious subject of the photo and allow their mind to play tricks on them a little bit...
